Senator Merkley Town Hall–Sunday, April 28, 2019, 4:00 p.m.

Hi, Josephine County residents!

One of our wonderful senators, Senator Merkley, is coming to Grants Pass!

“In our ‘We the People’ democracy, town hall meetings are an essential tool for me to hear from Oregonians and represent their interests back in D.C.,” Merkley said.  “I invite everyone in these counties to come and discuss what we need to do to strengthen our state and our nation.”

Since joining the Senate in 2009, Merkley has held a town hall in each of Oregon’s 36 counties every year. These town halls will be his 382^nd,  383^rd, and 384^th as a U.S. Senator.

Senator Merkley’s staff has requested our help facilitating his visit. We need some volunteers to set up folding chairs in the venue, the Rogue Community College gym. Please come to the gym at 3:00 Friday afternoon, April 26, if you are able to help with this set up. (Note the change in set up time–previous time was 5:00 Friday).

Also, the senator’s staff needs several of us to volunteer at the sign in tables before the town hall begins. Please call 541-761-0609 or email chair@josephinedemocrats.org if you would like to assist with either the room set up or volunteering at the sign in tables. See you there!
