Date: May 14th 6:30PM
Place: Unitarian Universalists, 129 NW E Street, Grants Pass
Josephine County Democrats are providing an opportunity for the public to find out more about how government works through a series of speakers who will take the mystery out of the county courthouse, the statehouse, and what your Congressional representatives actually do.
The May 14th meeting will feature Arthur O’Hare, a member of the Josephine County Finance Department who will explain where the county’s money comes from and where it goes.
The public is welcome to attend, especially new voters or those who don’t always vote because they don’t feel informed. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with an opportunity to socialize and network before the meeting begins at 7 p.m. at 129 NW “E” Street in Grants Pass.
