We will be discussing the upcoming November Election. PCPs will be reviewing and voting on changes to our Standing Rules. Gathering will be in-person at Unitarian Universalist and via Zoom. 6:30 is Social. 7:00 is JCDCC General Meeting with speaker and business.

What is HB2002 - Reproductive Health and Access to Care? |
ACLU, Basic Rights Oregon, Planned Parenthood, and INTERSECT are sponsoring a Webinar about House Bill 2002 which the Governor recently signed. This is a big deal for abortion and trans healthcare rights in Oregon—but what exactly does that mean for Oregonians? Join the ACLU of Oregon, Basic Rights Oregon, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon and INTERSECT teams on Tuesday, September 12 at noon for an Uncovering HB 2002 webinar.
Tune in to hear from and engage with expert panelists about the lessons we learned this past session, how it will be implemented in our state, and what’s next for the movement for bodily autonomy in our state.

| Adopt a Highway Road Cleanup |
DATE: 09/23/2023 Time: 9AM- Noon
Location: Hwy 199 & Hubbard Lane |
Please come and help keep Josephine County beautiful! The Josephine County Democrats do a road clean-up every three months to help keep our highways uncluttered and attractive. We have adopted a section of highway that begins near Hubbard Lane on Hwy 199. Please bring sturdy footwear, water, gloves, and perhaps a hat. We need at least 8-10 volunteers to help out. Bags, litter-grabbers, and safety vests will be provided for you. The clean-up usually takes about 2 hours.
From Grants Pass, drive west on Hwy 199 to Hubbard Lane (the last light on 199, near the college). Make a left at the light, then take the first right and park along the road. Participants need to be at least 16 years old. Please bring a mask in case we need to share vehicles. Thank you!

| First Friday Social at Two Rivers Vineyard |

We will be gathering at the Two Rivers on Riverbanks Rd for some wine, food, music, good conversation and the beautiful outdoors in the valley between the Applegate and Rogue Rivers.
Wine prices vary by the year/type. Sara always has some food available via a food truck. Check their website close to the day for more information. Live music from 3-5pm. We will gather starting at 2.
We can make reservations to get a great table. If you are thinking of joining us, please email us with the number of people.
