The (w)HOLE

As rural communities across the country are struggling with decreasing manufacturing and ongoing flight of young people to the cities, a group of artists in rural southwestern Oregon are looking for creative ways to develop a more resilient local economy: through performance.

Beyond Boom & Bust is a multi-year initiative exploring the topic of rural economies through an artistic lens, focused on the Illinois Valley in southwestern Oregon. The economy, what wealth means, and resilience are the focus of the upcoming show, The (w)HOLE, which will be performed in Ashland on October 4-5 and in Cave Junction on October 6.

Please note that this show contains some mature content.

All proceeds from ticket sales benefit RiverStars Performing Arts, which cultivates youth voice and power by providing free dance and theatre training to over 80 youth in the Illinois Valley.
