On Saturday, June 1st, 150 leaders from across rural and small-town Oregon are coming together to talk about organizing in our hometowns, reflect on the previous year and make plans for our rural human dignity movements in the year ahead. The Caucus is a place to gain new skills and insights as well as a chance to re-energize with fellow leaders from around the state!
We have planned an exciting day of sharing strategies and stories to strengthen our work. From organizing for safe and welcoming communities in the face of white nationalism to building power through local elections, we cannot wait to dig in together at this year’s Caucus. In addition to Saturday, June 1st, we are excited to invite you to join us for two additional events in Cottage Grove on Friday, May 31st. Friday we will be learning about organizing for affordable housing and human dignity in Lane County and dreaming about the future of the new rural organizing community center on Main Street! Check out the details below and then RSVP by emailing Emma@rop.org to let us know your plans by Friday, May 24th!
See Calendar for more information on the May 31st events.
