Yes… Our lunch in October is on Halloween.
The Josephine County Democrats Luncheon speaker will be John Jones, who is helping organize Foundry Village, a project to create a safe, structured environment for the homeless in Grants Pass.
Based on Hope Village in Medford, a tiny house community, it will provide help for those who had a few bad breaks and ended up with no place to go. The gated community will be transitional, helping people get back on their feet and eventually into a permanent residence. Jones will provide information about the status of the project, where it’s proposed to be built, costs, and who will manage it.
The luncheon begins at noon, at Climate City on G Street in Grants Pass. The public is welcome to attend.
This will be the last lunch for 2019! November and December cancelled for the holidays. So! Join us!
