October 11th General Meeting: Local Propositions

Unitarian Universalists and Zoom 129 NW E St, Grants Pass, OR 97526

The County Commissioners have placed 3 propositions on the November ballot for voter consideration. The first is the Sales Tax to raise money to fund Sheriff Law Enforcement. The second and third are relating to psilocybin manufacturing and use in service centers. Very short summaries are available here.

Currently there are no outside speakers on any of these topics. We will be posting more information for all of us to educates ourselves on the issues and impacts. Please stay tuned.

At the meeting, we will explore whether we as a party will endorse any of these, or recommend voting NO, or taking no action.

Proposed Agenda and update to Standing Rules for PCP vote.

Join us! This will be lively and informative.

As always, we will meet in person at the Unitarian Universalist 129 NW E St. and via Zoom. Social starts at 6:30PM and the Program at 7:00PM. Disabled parking and entrance available in the rear of the building.

For Zoom, you must register in advance. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
