The theme of the events will be “America United.”

The Biden/Harris PIC will host a memorial to remember and honor the lives lost to COVID-19 in cities and towns across the country. A Washington, D.C. ceremony will feature a lighting ceremony around the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, the Biden/Harris PIC is inviting cities and towns around the country to join Washington, D.C. in illuminating buildings and ringing church bells at 2:30 p.m. in a national moment of unity and remembrance.

Over 289,000 Americans including over 1,750 Oregonians have lost their lives to COVID-19.

Please light up your houses, and contact your churches to ask them to participate in honoring these lost lives.
